Falling in Style: Revenge of the Booties

Ahhhhhh Fall. The time where all of us get the sniffles, sip on some lattes, and pretend it's cold outside. I have been dying to write this post. Why? Because my last Fall Booties was a huge hit. Everybody loved it and I thought it is time to give everyone a little update on fall style.

Obviously, this would be a typical California girl style. Since the weather is always on its period and super moody in California, these outfits are not completely practical for cold weather.

I have added a new addition to must-haves in my wardrobe. Meet my suede boots. This boot is now a brand new favorite because of how versatile it is. I am going to show you 9 different outfits with just one beautiful boot! This boot mimics a high heel. For those of you who are beginners to mastering "the walk", these boots are good for you. When I put these on, I feel like a model strutting my stuff. It is super stylish and adorable. I am absolutely in love. Watch me rock these outfits with my trusty old fence. :)

How this boot functions: It creates slimmer legs and adds some height. Plus, for all of my girlies who do not feel like shaving this season, you don't have to shave with these boots. It covers half of your legs anyways. These boots hug your legs super tightly which creates a legging effect. Plus, it has a tassel on the zipper to add additional embellishments.

Style #1: Throwing it back to the 90s yet again. Pair a frilly blouse with some tight jeans and these boots. The hat throws it all together creating a fun and vintage look.

Style #2: Although I maintain an angel child complex for my personality, it never hurts to look a little rebellious. A contemporary vest like this from Forever 21 adds a biker feel which creates a complex and angular nature to an otherwise simple outfit.

Style #3: Feeling like a secret spy? Got a look for you. This is my go-to James bond side chick look. I am wearing a tight little black dress that outlines my silhouette. You want something that adds that seductive factor. The boots creates slimmer legs creating the model like silhouette you are looking for. You can't forget to pose with your finger gun!

Style #4: Baby, it's cold outside. I am wearing a soft baggy white sweater from Old Navy. White is always a great idea to contrast with dark boots. Top it off with a crocheted beret to keep you warm from head-to-toe!

Style #5: Time to break out your snow bunny vest! I love this vest because it is so cute. Layer it over a skater dress and some black leggings. Top it off with those boots to add some extra flair.

Style #6: Going out? Feeling classy? Skater dresses are always in. Add patterns to your look like this striped dress to hold on to that classy flair. Pair it with some cute sunglasses and you are ready to go out with your hot date.

Style #7: This is an outfit for work or to look professional. If you want to own that girl power, it's time to break out those fancy blouses. This blouse can be taken to another level if you just simply tuck it into your pants and slightly pull it out. Since this blouse is sheer, you can see your lovely silhouette and add a little pattern to your look. Tall boots always makes a gal seem more powerful. ;)

Style #8: Keeping it casual. Wear a cami and top it off with a cardigan. Cardigans are an essential for this beautiful season. Pick ones that would contrast with your solid cami. Patterns or bright colors would work. Since most of my wardrobe is comprised of neutrals, this blocked cardigan creates a nice contrast to the white cami.

Style #9: Crocheted tops have become a staple to add some complexity to my outfits. Layering it over a cami makes the look much more fun. Complete it with those cute boots.

I hope these looks inspire you to play around with your wardrobe this season. I can't wait until next year. Love you babes!

Good Luck,
Em
