Hey y'all! I know it's been forever. Oops. But I think this has been long overdue.
But first, let me tell you a story. My friend Jasmine had come over to my house for a sleepover so I decided we could do a fun little craft project. I've been longing to change up my space for quite some time and wall art is the perfect way to change things up. ;)
Today I'm going to show you how to make your own Silhouette Glitter Wall Art.
Materials:
Matte Mod Podge
Canvas
Paintbrushes
Fine Gold Glitter
Gold Paint
Procedures:
1. Choose a silhouette of your choice. I picked an anchor and a deer. Print it out.
2. Trace the silhouette lightly with a pencil on the canvas.
3. Paint a layer of gold paint for the silhouette. This is to ensure that if the glitter does not stick, your art will still be gold. Let it dry.
4. Paint a layer of mod podge. Be careful to not go over the lines!
5. Sprinkle glitter carefully over the mod podge.
6. Once the art is covered with a layer of glitter, tap the canvas to get rid of the excess.
7. Let it dry for a day.
Hang it up and admire your art!
